Downgrading from the Gingerbread to Froyo will brick your Atrix. Sadly it is a hardware change that the update did, as you aren't supposed to be able to downgrade. Not sure if there is another way around your problem.

I run the version 45.2.17.MB860.BellMobility.en.CA 2 days ago.
There's a lot of change..
My problem is that before I was using my phone as a router without being charged for my computer data use..
Even if I was downloading plenty of stuff, I was using only 40-50 mo by month, really great when you don't have other internet access and a limit of 1 go on the mobile. For what I see the update looks nice for the other things but I was use to the look of the old one and I miss the bug on the data counting when using the phone as a router.
So is there anyone you could help to downgrade to the previous version?
I found the file but as it's an old one my phone don't take it as an update.
Thanks

I have much experience with unlocked bootloaders and custom ROMs on the original ATRIX. I will do my best to hold your hand through any problem, small or large, on any phone. Please open up a thread in the help section (or Rescue Squad section if your phone is in dire need) or PM me. I don't bite
The ONLY way to downgrade would be to unlock your phone's bootloader and then flash the 2.2.2 Bell Gobstopper from NFHimself on XDA. It's the stock Bell 2.2.2 for unlocked phones and is the ONLY way to go back without bricking.

Hi. I'm really new here (joined a few hours ago), and I've been reading a few threads about rooting, unlocking, SBF's, radios, and all that goodness. So, nervously, I want to ask a question. I'm just curious in relation to the OP's situation; can't he go back to the 4.5.91/2.3.4 version instead of going back to 2.2.2?

Hi abetsi welcome to Atrix Forums! He *may* be able to go from Gingerbread back to Froyo, if he's very careful and follows the instruction that das8nt gives...to the LETTER.
