Red face How do you add a digital movie to my Atrix 2?

I want to add a digital movie to my Atrix 2. How do I do this? I have it on my desktop. I don't have a card reader in my tower. Do I need to take the cd card out & put the movie on there? I have another desktop that has a card reader & I can put this digital movie on there, too. It is the kids desktop.

I just brought this phone last week. This is all new to me. I love my Atrix 2.

The easiest way would be to connect your phone to the PC via USB and selecting mass storage on your phone (bring the notification bar down/select USB/mass storage) then drag and drop to the external SD card. But first make sure the movie is in a format the phone can handle.

    I don't understand:

Selecting mass storage on my phone. I am barely going on any sleep. Youngest one was in the ER. I am putting this movie on my cell for any other ER visits.

    Thanks

What dont you understand? You are dropping the movie file onto atrix internal memory and as long as its in correct format the phone can play the file on phone or through HDMI with compatable TV sets

Once you connect the phone via USB to the PC (bring the notification bar down on the phone/select USB/click on mass storage) when you are done moving the file make sure you eject it on your PC.

On your file manager navigate to where you places the file, but it should come up on your gallery.

    OK, complete tutorial:

1- Locate the movie on your computer.
2- Plug in your phone to your computer. Slide down the notification window, and click on the entry that says "USB Connection" (or something similar.)
3- Select "USB Mass Storage Device." Wait for the driver to install if this is the first connection.
4- For sake of organization, create a new folder in the external drive called "MOT" that just appeared in "My Computer." Call the folder "Movies" or "Videos".
5- Simply copy and paste the movie file into the folder you just created.
6- Go back to your phone, open the notification window, select "USB Connection", and then select "Charge Only." Wait for the drivers to install if this is the first connection.
7- Unplug your phone from your computer.
8- If you wish to just use the normal video player, then: Go the your app drawer, and open the app called "Files." Click on "SD Card", and then either "Movies" or "Videos." Then click on the name of the movie that you copied to the SD card. Your movie should be playing!
9- However, I highly recommend that you get a video player called "MoboPlayer." It's a great, feature-rich, FREE video player. So if you want to, install the app "MoboPlayer" by "Mobo Team."
    10. Open up MoboPlayer. If it wants you to set up some basic things then follow the directions.
11- I can't remember completely, but there should be a button called "Scan Media" or something like that. Click it and wait for it to finish.
12- Now you should be able to click on either "Videos" or "Movies", click on the name of the movie you copied, and then play it.
