No case for me. Who's with me?

Is there anyone using their Atrix without a case? As we all know, the Atrix is verly "slippery" and there is always a concern of it sipping out of your hand. However, for me to use my phone with all of my docks, it is so much easier to just not have a case at all.

Here's a list of all of the cases I've tried and the problems I've had with docking...

Incipio Feather - by far my favorite case and I was able to modify it to fit all of my docks. However - very fragile as I've had 2 that have broken at the volume button

Trident Aegis - poor fit and finish and the hinges are ugly.

Rubberized battery cover - cheap with poor fit and finish

Several pouches and sleeves - not really what I'm looking for and kind of beside the point since I still have a slippery phone.

Anyway - I'm resigned to use my phone as is and just be really careful with it.

One other note - I've noticed that the phone feels less slippery over time. Is this because I've become used to it or is the slippery gloss finish eroding??

So - who else's phone is "nekkid"?

Not mine. I use a flexible case from TPU-Cases. It's not a ruggedized case like the Otterbox, but it does offer some protection and shock absorption (which saved my phone once already), and it's easy to slip off when I use my phone in the car dock (I can use it in the standard dock after taking out the dock's insert), plus it goes the phone a little more "heft." After using this case, a naked Atrix feels too flimsy.

I have learned the hard way that I need a case. I won't risk another digitizer fiasco. All it takes is one drop to land on the wrong corner and shatter the screen.

I'm not comfortable handling that phone without a case. Slippery is an understatement for me - it's like a wet bar of soap.

"and it's easy to slip off"

I think this is the issue that I have with TPU cases. They become so flimsy and loose at the edges that it just drives nuts - especially when pulling it out of my pocket. Do they make a harder-edged TPU case that won't become loose at the edges?

I don't know, but I can say that the TPU case I've been using for over five months hasn't become loose at all, and I've been taking it on and off for use in my car dock practically every day. Of course, if/when the time comes that it actually does become loose, I'll just get another one. $8 through Amazon is pretty cheap, and I'm definitely getting more than my money's worth out of it. (In fact, I should just go ahead and get another one as a standby.)

I don't use a case or a screen saver film.
