I have much experience with unlocked bootloaders and custom ROMs on the original ATRIX. I will do my best to hold your hand through any problem, small or large, on any phone. Please open up a thread in the help section (or Rescue Squad section if your phone is in dire need) or PM me. I don't bite

Yes, but it's limited to the phone's resolution "upscaled" to fit the screen, so it's not quite like a try native browser.

It's one of those things you gotta live with..carriers are trying to eliminate grandfathered unlimited plans anyway they can its all part of the game.
I'm curious. Is tethering without AT&T's consent actually illegal? Or does the company simply push the fees on its customers? After all, I pay for my data, I don't believe it should matter HOW I use that data. If you can tether unbeknown to AT&T, are there truly any legalities involved?

To answer your question regarding their fees and how they're applied....read your contract that you signed. You agreed to their fee structure, so the answer is yes.

Bell in Canada doesn't charge anything for tethering, unless my plan came with it? Either way, At&t has been treating you folks pretty cruddy. Hope I never have to sign with them.

Actually Dolphin has a font scaling add-on that can get you a pretty nice screen. Unfortunately I have had issues with the lapdock freezing the cursor occasionally and nothing you can do about it except undock. Yes I know about double-tapping the touch pad to turn the pad on & off - it's not that. Also it's a PITA to scroll on any browser I've tried - you're better off using the arrow keys.

Technically, it's not THEFT of service since you paid for the data, but it DOES violate the TERMS of service that you agreed to, so yes, technically, illegal.
