So I've rooted the phone, played emulators, got a live wallpaper, etc. however I can't figure out how to assign ringtones to different contacts. I've searched all throughout contacts and settings and I don't see an option for it. Help?

I read somewhere about an app being able to make ringtones and then you can use them. Anyone know??
Rindgroid?
Audiko is a pretty good app too. Once downloaded to phone, just assign by going to contacts the option is found under ringtone![]()
I would rather shoot for the moon and miss then aim for the gutter and make it...
+1 for Ringdroid too.
iPhone -> iPhone 3 -> iPhone 3GS -> iPhone 4 -> Atrix.
Anyone looking for a like new Panasonic ToughBook laptop?
I followed the steps and tried to edit a contact and assign a ringtone but there was nothing underneath additional info on the screen. No idea how to assign a ringtone to anyone as a result.
You have to tap on the little triangle pointing left to open that menu item -0 then you'll see the ringtone - not assigned.
Just as an FYI I created a directory on my SDCard and labeled it "Ringtones". I placed all the other ringtones I had in it plus the ones I downloaded from here for teh Droid. They are apparently picked up automagically because they show up under the Android ringtones. Is this the "right" way to do it guys?
