    Unlocked bootloader

    Not sure if its been posted, but the guys at XDA have found a file on the Atrix that could lead to custom recovery and an unlocked bootloader. Interesting ....

    I've been following this over on XDA for some time. as of now there is nothing conclusive this would become of anything but i'm sure there are devs behind the scenes that are working mad ass crazy trying to get this thing cracked.

    I don't know if this is truly unlocking it... it looks like to me that it's more like working with it and around it, but I haven't been able to follow too closely to really tell yet.

    It's probably a split between two things: the annoyances lately from hundreds of people asking non-dev questions in a thread where they're trying to figure out the bootloader and the like; and the other being keeping development hidden from manufacturers so that a loop hole can't be fixed before it completely exploited and released to the masses. I'm assuming it leans much harder towards the former reason, though.
