Install the Android SDK on you're Mac and the Fastboot package is in the tools directory. Everything should be the same with fastboot using s8nt's root method.

I have much experience with unlocked bootloaders and custom ROMs on the original ATRIX. I will do my best to hold your hand through any problem, small or large, on any phone. Please open up a thread in the help section (or Rescue Squad section if your phone is in dire need) or PM me. I don't bite

I came across this on getting fastboot set up on Mac. Not sure how current it is, but it's a start: http://blog.wapnet.nl/2011/05/setup-...dk-on-mac-osx/

Well, you would enter all commands into a terminal (Linux) or cmd window (Windows). You just have to have the adb and fastboot files present to be able to use the commands.

If it ends up working out I definitely will.

Are you on AT&T or a different carrier? If different I just wanted to make sure you've seen the new warning I added at the top.
