Splash Screen and Wallpapers (ongoing work)

As inspired by G-Man in another thread, I'll be proposing alternate splash screens, wallpapers, and generally using this thread as a brainstorming soundboard to get into theme mods in this thread.

Feel free to post tips, ideas, and even request custom jobs and I'll see what I can do.

No promises on delivery dates, and this will be done in my spare time, whenever I'm not at work, managing my MMO activities, dealing with social interactions in the Real World™ or sleeping.

You're not going to believe this, but I've already started working on something using the code in the background, last night as I closed up the 'shop.

It will be the next one I place in here, very probably tonight.

Stalemate, I sent a copy of your initial offering to a friend of mine who's a theme developer over on Droid Forums. One of his themes is based on steampunk. He calls his theme Steamworks - {THEME RELEASE} The Steamworks V6.5 - and you can see screenshots here - Dropbox - Photos - Simplify your life

Just thought it was an interesting cross tie-in.

I wish I could access Dropbox from work to check it out. From the 2 screencaps in a later post it looks pretty tricked out.

I'll give it a look-over tonight when I get home.

I think I'll adapt it to proper wallpaper size as well, and add moar geerz ans steemz when I do.

My friend does excellent work - he's meticulous as hell when it comes to theming.

If this splash screen / wallpaper thing captures my interest long enough, maybe I'll give skinning / themes a shot as well. I've done a few website interfaces so this could be another direction.

As long as nothing else captures my atten.... OH LOOK! A RAINBOW!
