Dumb question: You *are* on AT&T, aren't you? The reason I ask is that we have many members who live in Canada and are on a different phone service. The bootloader unlock ONLY works for AT&T phones at this time. If you're on Bell and try to unlock the bootloader using Kenneth Penn's program, it won't work.

I have much experience with unlocked bootloaders and custom ROMs on the original ATRIX. I will do my best to hold your hand through any problem, small or large, on any phone. Please open up a thread in the help section (or Rescue Squad section if your phone is in dire need) or PM me. I don't bite

The RSDlite will not even start to run if you are an incompatible build. Learned that with Eggs. Pretty sure...

    1. Power down your Motorola Atrix
    2. Take out your microSD card and SIM card for the flashing process
    3. While turning the phone on, hold the Volume Up button until it acknowledges RSD
    4. Your device will say “Starting RSD protocol support”
    5. Run “RSD Lite” on your computer
    6. Press the “. . .” button next to the box labeled “Filename”
    1. Load up the SBF file
    2. The SBF file is located inside of the .zip file, you must extract it out before loading it into RSD Lite

    • Use WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the .zip file on your computer
    1. Plug your device into your computer
      • Use the USB ports on the back side of your computer for safety
    2. RSD Lite should recognize your device and say “Model: NS Flash Olympus” and “Connected…”
    3. Press the “Start” button
    4. Be patient while the phone reboots. It will take a long time.

This is how far I got. Under PROGRESS is said something about flashing, and under RESULT it said failed. Phone would not boot up, just a black screen. No volume up and power button, or volume down and power buttom, would get it to come back on. Pulled battery, no help. Just seems dead. I may be the first to brick this thing for good. And I AM on ATT.

The dowload may have been broken. I don't see how you can mess up flashing. It won't let you flaah if your phone isn't in RSD protocol. It won't let you flash a non sbf, weird
