    Thanks.

With the battery pull during the re-enumeration period, that's the same error that someone else just reported on a separate issue. His will not accept any SBFs, but his issue's origin was different.

Not as of yet. He's tried everything we could possibly come up with. He had what's usually thought of as a soft-brick after installing an app. It caused the Failed to boot 1 and now nothing is able to be flashed. It has me completely stumped.

Edit: His thread is here for reference: Another "Failed to boot 1" issue.

I am also in the exact same situation as bjhom. Just received a warranty replacement phone from Motorola and cannot flash with fastboot or rsd lite. On my previous phone I could flash anything. Has to be the new phone!

Well, you could try flashing the AT&T SBF (NOT pre-2.3.4), but you'll likely get an error something like "sec_exception: febe, 35, 35" and it will reboot you as if nothing ever happened. That's the usual error when an international phone tries to flash AT&T firmware, or the other way around. You won't be able to do anything from the SD Card as the only thing a stock phone can flash from the SD Card is an office update.zip, and if the version numbers don;t match then it fails immediately and doesn't even try to install.

    Unfortunately, I believe so.

I am out of ideas on how to bypass this block, or even what this block is. I cannot find anyone with knowledge as to what has changed with these new/refurbished phones coming back from Motorola.
