There are NO dumb questions my friend.

Unfortunately, while the answer is yes it can be done from a Mac, I haven't a clue as to how it's done. I'm not a technician and I've never owned a Mac. The good news is that we have a Rescue Squad who can give you advice as to how to do it, so hang on for awhile and one of them will swing by and give you a hand.

The only dumb questions are the ones that don't get asked my friend :-)
As someone who despises everything Apple... I couldn't tell ya if it's possible to do on a Mac...

Titanium backup is for apps. The important one to so before flashing a new rom is the nandroid backup through clockworkmod. That backs up everything...including the OS you are on. Just don't be like me...make a backup of your stock! I jumped the gun and didn't...I've never looked back, but that was a long time ago now!

Also, be prepared for the soft brick of your device. BUT if it doesn't happen, don't sweat it! When I unlocked my bootloader RSD didn't hit 100% and I didn't have the soft brick either! So don't be shocked of things aren't 100% the same.

AND...don't do it in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep!

If you need any help post here or shoot me a PM! Someone will get back to you!
