You don't really need to go into fastboot and wipe, you can do the wipes using CWM and be okay. Wipe before the install of CWM.

Do yourself a favor and read the instructions given by Kenneth on his webpage where you downloaded Alien. Follow his directions and you'll be okay.
Just to clarify, are these the install instructions:
    Charge your phone to 100%
Power up in fastboot mode, then use the command fastboot -w
use the command fastboot reboot while holding down volume key and go into recovery mode.
Wipe Davlic cache, wipe battery stats (advanced menu), wipe cache, install zip from sd-ext.
    Reboot
Wait for Alien to start up. Go through the setup process.
Reboot and use CWM to install theme if desired.
Run phone battery until the phone turns itself off, then plug in the wall charger and charge until the indicator tells you you're fully charged.
Boot phone into recovery mode, wipe battery stats, reboot.

And I can skip the Fastboot stuff and go straight to recovery, right?

Yes, the fastboot wipe was included based on older versions of CWM. If you're using RomRacer's CWM, you should be good to go.

So, Find and install RomRacer's CWM, Wipe everything, Install Alien, Setup and Reboot, theme, use up all the juice, and charge up, wipe stats, reboot?

    Hey,

ROM Manager is seeing the internal storage as the SD card.

That's because it IS the SD card. The extra card is SDcard-ext. Motorola did things a bit wierd here. Just boot up into CWM and load it from the external SD card.

Ya and when you install a new recovery file with fastboot you need to either delete the file \system\etc\install-recovery.sh or use the command 'fasboot erase recovery' to allow for a clean install over the previous install.

And yes, internal storage is technically an sd card, and the removable card is the external sd.

I have much experience with unlocked bootloaders and custom ROMs on the original ATRIX. I will do my best to hold your hand through any problem, small or large, on any phone. Please open up a thread in the help section (or Rescue Squad section if your phone is in dire need) or PM me. I don't bite

Wait, what? I am doing the following
    - Load ROM Manager
    - Install from SD Card -> CWM

    No wipes, no nothing.

Did you install a newer CWM recovery or are you still using ROM Manager's?

Still using ROM Managers. Downloading ROM Racers. After that, ROM Manager/Install .zip from SD?
