    Bell Atrix Update June 21st made Gameloft games unplayable

    The Bell Atrix Update on June 21st made all nine Gameloft games I purchased unplayable due to an offset screen/resolution problem. I have not been able to receive any help from Bell with the issue, and am waiting to hear back from Gameloft who finally, it seems, sent the issue to their technical department. We will see. It has been over two weeks, and the problem continues. Clearly Bell and Gameloft have a business arrangement as Asphalt 5 and Golf 1 come attached to the phone upon purchase. So you would think it would be in both their interests to get together and solve the problem--otherwise I will be pushing for a refund. Appaled with the fact that the Atrix is Bells new flagship phone, and yet a visit to one of their retail offices reveals agents who look at the Atrix like it is an alien when you ask a simple question about the phone. And Gameloft continued for days to insist that I simply needed to reinstall a new link, after first telling me the problem was my phone. Well....NOT. People are now posting about this problem all over the place. Bell and Gameloft need to get on the ball, or loose a lot of customers. I don't have any more time to waste.

    Yeah, as you've found this is a widespread problem with the Bell update. It's effected games as well as other popular apps. I know Motorola is aware of it, but they've offered no ETA on a fix.

    Here is what Gameloft just sent me, after the problem has persisted for over a month, and not been resolved:

    Hello!
    Thank you for contacting Gameloft Customer Care. We are always glad to help you.
    To successfully re-install the game please delete all the data related to the game from your SD card and internal memory.
    To delete data from SD card:
    1. Connect your device to a PC through a USB datacable
    2. The PC will see USB Mass Storage instantly or please choose "USB mass storage" in the menu on the pop up screen.
    3. Browse the device, it will appear as USB Drive. Go to "Gameloft" folder and delete all the sub-folders.
    Example (For Hawx): SDCard\gameloft\games\Hawx

    After that you may go to My Downloads again to re-install the game.

    If there is anything else I can assist you with today, please let me know.

    IT DOESN'T WPORK. THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED. How many times am I going to be told to reinstall the games before someone wakes up?!

    It seems this has effect some of the UK Atrix phones as well with the latest update. So, it's definitely a Moto problem. I hope they step up soon and do something about it.
