    touch feedback/vibration

When hitting the home, menu, back buttons I get a slight feedback vibration. Which I know can't be good for the battery life.

I was able to turn it off with text input. Is there any way to turn the rest of the buttons off?

    Thanks!

I couldn't figure that out myself. Seems as though we're stuck with it. Same with every time you swipe your finger to open the phone.

It's called Haptic feedback. Turn it off by going into settings/sounds and uncheck the box next to Haptc Feedback.

You sure we don't have a different phone? haha. I don't see that in my sounds settings.

My bad, was assuming it was the same as the DX which I currently have. Will try to find info for you.

edit: I've looked and found a way to disable all vibrations all together with a hack but I doubt that you would want to disable all vibrations all together. Most likely Motorola will fix this issue on an update.

    You aren't rockin the atrix?

I thought you joined the rest of us.

But if you're sporting a DX that means you're on VZ, yes?

Yep have been with VZW for over 10 years. I am anxiously awaiting for the Atrix to come to VZW, hopefully by Q4. If I am patient enough that is...

I'm not opposed to disabling all vibrations in non silent mode. But in silent, I use them.

Guess I'll wait for the update.

Well some one here can afford a nice cell phone bill! haha.

I'm sure by then, that dual core dual what ever processor will be out and you'll be better off than us.
