I made a habit of backing up all my info on my Blackberry Bold 9000 and now i am kinda pissed because it doesnt look like theres a way to transfer all that backed up contacts to my new Atrix.
What is the best/easiest way of doing this?

Can either of you Export your contacts to a CSV file?
Do you have programs that you can use to do this via USB on your computer?
Sorry, not familiar with those two phones' OS.

I have the 9700 and it syncs to outlook. The atrix can't synch to outlook- this blows! In order to transfer your contact you have to open/create a gmail and import your.csv into gmail. Then open gmail on your atrix and add your contacts.
Love this phone but damn it should synch with OUTLOOK!
Or go back to ATT and have them transfer it all for you. Simple, bam, done.
Try syncing your outlook contacts first to Myphoneexplorer free software and then sync to your Atrix
The way I did it, and I think it's the easiest way, is to install google sync on your 9700. That will upload everything into your google account. Then everything will be synced to the Atrix.
ya i didnt got to ATT for that reason (SIM transfer blows).
thanks for the additional info guys. but i ended up syncing my Blackberry contacts to Outlook, then finding a way to convert them to a vCard, and finally uploading each vCard to gmail. I had to go one by one but it wasnt too bad and know in case anything happens to my phone i have them all saved to gmail.
