I have to say, I have read through a lot of forums ever since I got a smartphone and the support on this site is outstanding! I really can't emphasize enough how much of a difference there is between most forum support and the support here. Thanks for the link

Hey guys, i seem to have run into a problem! i started the rsd lite software and it seems to have finished (progress says executed: 100%) but instead of the "pass" message in the status box it says "please manually power up this phone". when i look at my phone it seems to be trying to boot; it shows the motorola symbol with thr dual core message, begins the animation and then shuts off and starts again. what should i do?

Did you remember to clear data, cache, and dalvik? Are you using the rear USB ports on your PC?

The answer to the second question is definitely a yes. As far as the first question, was that something that was taken care of when I reset the phone back to stock? Which step of the tutorial was that?

And if i didn't do those things what should I do now?

As long as RSD lite finished flashing successfully, you should be ok to do a battery pull

If you need help, and I appear to be offline, shoot me a msg on Gtalk, or PM me and I'll respond as soon as I possibly can!!

You will have to go back and wipe the phone utilizing the ABD tool and booting the phone into fastboot. Once that is done boot the phone again into RSD and run it again.

    Commands are as follows -

    fastboot erase data
    fastboot erase userdata
    fastboot erase system
    fastboot erase boot
    fastboot erase preinstall
    fastboot erase webtop
    fastboot -w
    fastboot reboot

I highly recommend using all the above commands in that order.
