    Bluetooth Connection Constantly Drops.....

When I first got my Atrix I was using a Motorola T505 in-car speakerphone and it seemed to work well. I later upgraded to the Roadster and found that it dropped the Bluetooth connection quite often. So, I called Motorola and they sent a new one. Same issue. So, I went back to the T505. While it seemed to do it less often, it still dropped the Bluetooth connection. So, I did all the things I can think of; factory reset, unpair / remove devices and re-pair; all to no avail. Anyone else having a problem with the BT connection dropping often? Any solutions out there? Thanks much!

    Scott

Yeah Carl, wondering if it's a BT radio issue or software related on mine. Any one else?

I don't have any issues myself, but I only use headsets and not in-car devices. We have had quite a few reports of issues since the Gingerbread update.

I know a few have factory reset and had success with that and one user sent it in to Motorola and they fixed it, though there's no way to tell what they did.

I have experienced the problem with my Plantronics Backbeat 903 Plus and Motorola S10-HD headsets, but only after I upgraded to Gingerbread. I cannot figure out how to keep dropping the audio. The bluetooth symbol is still on, the headset still thinks it is connected, but no audio. I fastest way I have found to reset the problem is to turn off bluetooth using a widget icon then immediately turning it back on using the same widget and after about 15 seconds it reconnects.

Douggrif, that is exactly thr same thing that is happening with me. I also have found that going to the BT widget on cycling it on/off gets it back on. BT icon still shows a connection. Audio drops every few minutes while listening to Pandora. Sure would be nice to get a resolution for this!
