Phone has a "failed to boot 0x1000" on the screen.

    Hi there,
I ve been looking through this forum and i have seen many thread relating to this topic but sadly i cant seem to find what i am looking for. maybe i am not reading it well enough but hopfully you guys can help me out. So recently i tried to root my phone through RSD and when it rebooted i got the "Failed to boot" ( i have the newest gingerbread update btw). On the bottom of the "Failed to boot" is a bunch of option such as rsd, fastboot, and other BP option. i was wondering is my phone hard bricked or is there still a chance of me saving it? if i can save it can someone please help me out and show me the direction to do so, i will truly grateful. THANKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!

Well, not easily. The best options are using another Atrix to charge your battery or borrowing another battery.

There is a 'MacGyver' method which involves cutting a usb cord to directly place the exposed wires to the battery contacts while in the phone. It's not real safe, but I can link it if you'd like. It does work, though.

And, no, even if your phone let you I wouldn't recommend trying to flash on a low battery as that could end with a perma-brick.

It's in the Atrix Firmware Superthread which is linked in the guide on flashing I posted above. It's the very top SBF file in the list.
