I'm curious: is there a difference between the stock ROMs in this thread and the ones in the "fruitcakes" thread, other than the method of installation? I wonder if one is preferred over the other. Of course, I downloaded both, so I'm covered either way.

RSD Lite is prone to failure (muahahah). Really, sadly, a risky tool thats safer using in the confines of Motorola. So fruitcake is definitely recommended first option. The fruitcake is supposed to be stock, exactly the same, but it has the pudding, you can choose with/without webtop, and maybe something else. The time I flashed a fruitcake I think I remember still being rooted too, and sadly they hadn't changed the build # in the build.prop so it still said Alien (or RedPill or something).

I have much experience with unlocked bootloaders and custom ROMs on the original ATRIX. I will do my best to hold your hand through any problem, small or large, on any phone. Please open up a thread in the help section (or Rescue Squad section if your phone is in dire need) or PM me. I don't bite
