Won't connect to regular home wifi, only guest-wifi

Alright, so I just got home from AT&T with my new Atrix
I went into settings > WiFi and I see my home wifi network and the guest version of my home wifi network. I selected my regular network and entered the password, and upon first connect it redirected to guest wifi. I disconnected and clicked on regular wifi, but now it just keeps looping between authenticating and saying its disconnected....

I dont want to be confined to just guest because then i have to type in a guest password every time i use it. And i'm not a guest, so i'd like regular connection lol.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

unplug the router and replug, see if it's something inthere that is messed up. Also, try changing the password on the router (depending on how networked you are...changing the password in my house means changing three computers, two phones, PS3, external harddrive, wii and the printer, a huge pain in the arse)

Have you tried a reset on the phone? Try disabeling the "guest" account for the router, log in to the normal acct, then reactivate the gues see if that works.

i tried disabling the guest on my phone, but it still loops. The router should be fine, I can use my wireless laptop fine with it connected to regular network (non-guest)

right now it just says scanning... the network is still shown. occansionally it gives a notification that there is a network to connect to, referring to mine but it still loops

No, for this try killing the guest on the router, see if something in the phone doesn't agree with a dual ability on the router. If it works, then you know the phone isn't likign your router. Could be that it's not equiped to "see" that there are two different log-in abilities, this is "confusing" the phone and while it can get onto one without a passcode, it can't see where the passcode is really supposed to go.

Alright so it turns out the password for the router had a character that wasn't in caps.
Happily connected to blazing fast wifi now

I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available. If you try it once, you will die.

Lol oh no, the simplest things lol

Sent from my atrix with tapa talk
1- Use the search function before asking a question--it takes away from new questions to have the same ones pop up over and over.
    2- ROMS
    3-
    HACKS
    4- THEMES
5- To root 8.3 go HERE
I dont mean to seem rude...but PLEASE search for your answer. New questions deserve answers, and we can't see them if the same thing pops up over and over
