Sideloading help!

    Sideloading help!

    i used superoneclick to root my phone but now when i go to enable side loading it keeps telling me it failed (i havent restarted my phone yet after rooting since the instructions said not to) what am i doing wrong?

    After rooting, did you disconnect your phone form the USB? (don't if you haven't already)

    If so, do you have the SuperUser icon in your app tray?

    Did you get the Root Success popup?

    right after i got the root success popup i clicked allow non market apps and i got the above mentioned message...

    Just after i clicked the allow non market apps button i get the su prompt to allow unknown

    Can you check the File Folder that you extracted to on your PC? It seems sqlile3 isn't being pushed for some reason. Can you find that file in the folder?

    I am not seeing that file on my computer...

    It is in the original downloaded file, but once i extract the file its gone...

    Edit: Removed file, not needed.

    Try extracting this file and adding it to your SuperOneClick folder, wherever that is.

    Make sure it doesn't place it in it's own folder inside the SOC folder.

    Try running again.

    I don't know why it would pick it up, but try disabling your anti-virus. It might be killing it in the background.

    That was it!!! After i disabled my anti-virus all the files extracted just fine and i was able to finish that last step!!!
    Thanks alot for the help I have been at this for a couple of hours now...
