    Clockwork vs Clockwork Mod?

WHat is the difference between Clockwork and Clockwork Mod (other than the name)? I have been reading a bit about CM7, as Dorian's new RedPill is based on it, and Clockwork Recovery seems to be mentioned as the means for CM7's installation. I have tried to find if they are different...but they seem pretty much the same to me (in all ways but the name). Are they the same/do the same thing?

Also what does Rom Manager do?

They are the same thing. If you're to be installing cm7 or redpill then you'll want to use romracer's version of clockwork over on xda. Should be easy to find if you look in the Atrix development section.

ROM manager acts sort of like a GUI for clockwork. You can initiate ROM flashes from within ROM manager or initiate done functions like fixing permissions our backups. You can also download some roms from within ROM manager, like the cm7 nightlies, but they're limited unless you pay for the premium version of the app.

For my money I'll just boot into CWM myself. Of course, its never a bad thing to support developers so buy it if you find any value in it.

Clock work Mod Recovery is the oldest functioning recovery system for the Android OS, it's history can be found here - What Is ClockworkMod Recovery And How To Use It On Android [Complete Guide] - RomRacer's version only dates to this past Spring. I've never tried it, and I have no plans to try it as the version of CWM Recovery (the *official* version), installed through Rom Manager works just fine on my phone. YMMV though.
