Have you ever attempted to install CWM to your Atrix? We're 99% sure that that's what's caused the "Failed to boot 2" errors after installing the update.

Try pulling the battery, waiting 5 seconds, and then replacing it. Turn your phone back on. As quickly as possible, go to Settings -> About Phone and jot down what's under "Android version." It should say 2.3.4, correct?

You need to flash the 2.3.4 sbf:

Read this on how to flash an sbf, then read it again. Make sure that you understand everything you need to do, and then follow the instructions using this sbf: http://www.4shared.com/archive/viniG...4591-1106.html

What this will do is return you all the way to stock (but preserve your settings/apps). That way root should be removed, as well as any traces as CWM (what's causing the problem), and you should be able to install the update.

Okay. Imma try it. Would I have a problem if I flashed a new ROM instead since I can get into recovery?

    Is your bootloader unlocked?

Flashing a ROM might work but it also might worsen your problems. I suggest you flash the sbf to get a clean base and then work your way from there.
