Hi people. I've recently been having problems with my atrix. My wifi always says "Error" and my Atrix keeps randomly rebooting itself. I'd like to unroot my device to see if it will make a difference.
System Version :45.21.78.MB860.BellMobility.en.CA
Model Number: MB860
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version: N_01.07.05P
Webtop Version:WT-1.2.0-167_BELL
Kernel Version:2.6.32.9
wmb050@zbr05lnxdroid19#2
Build Number:4.5.2A-51_OLL-17.8
If somebody could either tell me how to unroot, or how to fix the wifi and rebooting problem, that'd be great. Thanks![]()

Hi and welcome!
There are unroot instructions at the bottom of the first post in this thread: [How To] Root Motorola Atrix 1 ALL Versions - Including STOCK/LOCKED 2.3.4/2.3.6
... but I don't think that will help with your issues.
If the Bell 2.3.6 Update is anything like the AT&T 2.3.6, then it's very likely that an incompatibility, or corrupt file, from the update could be causing one or both of the issues. I hate to sound like AT&T/Bell Customer Service, but probably the best option would be to perform a painful Factory Reset, wiping the Internal Storage at the same time. Of course, before doing that you would need to backup anything you wanted to keep, like pictures (on the I.S.), call log, texts, Contacts (if they're not already synced to Google), etc. The reset has just been a necessity for quite a few people after the recent update.
Thanks das8nt
I've already performed a factory reset. actually 3 times already. Haven't solved the problem yet. I'm going to try to unroot my Atrix and see what comes from that.
