Texting

This is a discussion on Texting within the Motorola Atrix Help forums, part of the Motorola Atrix Support Forum category; Does anyone know how to turn texting and picture texting back on. I think I turned it off while trying to control notifications....

    Texting

    Does anyone know how to turn texting and picture texting back on. I think I turned it off while trying to control notifications.

    What exactly do you mean? The notifications for text messeges?

    If you open the Text Messaging app and hit Menu > Messaging Settings, theres a section for the notifications specifically for text messages

    Sometimes I forget about the menu button. Wish it would glow brighter when there was a menu available.

    I am having a problem with receiving pictures it tells me to download them then nothing. Shouldn't they just pop up? How can i fix this?

    If you're referring to picture via text message (MMS) then it will download it to a folder in your phone's storage. Use the Files app in your app drawer and navigate to your internal storage and then to Messaging. You should find it in there.

    It should also show up in your Gallery under All Photos.

    I figured it out i restarted the phone and all the photos i was not getting showed up at once.
