    DLNA vs mkv

Cant seem to play mkv files on the standard DLNA software of my Atrix. I tried downloading varios players, but cant make them work with the DLNA. Tried using other DLNA apps but couldnt make them work.
I had partial success with BsPlayer, but after connecting to my pc I only have access to the Users folder on my main drive. The other drives are not accessible no matter how many permits I grant them (they have been shared to work with the standard DLNA, but the mkv files do not show up with it).

TLDR: Can access avi files on standard DLNA, not mkv. Can read mkv files using BsPlayer, but only on the Users folder (C:\Users).

Any tip on how to solve this? The BsPlayer forum has very little information on this.

You're not annoying. Perhaps nobody knows the answer. I know that I don't.

    Re: DLNA vs mkv

I don't have any experience with this either. After a quick search, I did come across the below thread which points to it being an Android- wide issue. It might not help, but thought I'd post it just in case.

    Good luck with it!
