There are a lot of stable roms available for the Atrix.

Give your battery some time. It tends to improve with use. Also, there are several ways to improve your battery life, which is obviously a function of power consumption. You have a powerful phone that needs power to run it.

If you do a little searching, you'll find lots of threads that discuss ways to improve your battery life.

    And, welcome to our forum.

so what would you prefer if you wanted a stable rom that increases battery life and get me a little more speed?
i noticed that whenever i go into taskpannel, it always says i have 300mb of ram before i have to clear it.

It is the use of your phone that eats the battery .... turn down your brightness, turn off auto sync of the social apps, turn off the fancy weather widgets. These are the type things that you can do immediately. Installing a custom rom may or may not have any affect on your battery usage (actually, it's the kernel that has more effect). Before you start considering going with a custom rom and/or a different kernel, consider the fact that doing so will void your warranty and may result in an unusable phone if you don't know what you're doing.

You already have a very fast phone. While you can make it a bit faster, that, in itself, is going to cause less, not more, battery consumption.

So, I have to ask.....what is it that you're seeking from your phone? What is your goal? What are you doing with your phone now that is causing your battery life to be so bad? Is it really that bad or is it within normal standards?

Your question just doesn't lend itself to a simple "load this rom and all your issues are solved" solution.

i have been trying to aquatint myself with the phone so i might say that i have been using the phone more than usual but i have heard so many good thing about different roms and the improvements that can come with them.
i am having the batter percentage issue that i wish could be fixed. and my ram is cluttered by bloatware that i wish i could take off so there are minor things that i wish to be done and also that fact that i can make the phone my own style.
i have heard that you can unroot your phone so warranty would not be a issue right now but if i need to unlock my bootloader then it might be the point of no return for custom roms

Its irreversible because unlocking burns a numerical fuse in a security chip. Once this fuse is 'burned' or 'flipped' it cannot be reverted back to its original state.

If you need help, and I appear to be offline, shoot me a msg on Gtalk, or PM me and I'll respond as soon as I possibly can!!

Another thing you need to take in consideration is the you will efectively lose your warranty if you install a custom ROM on your device, and yes, as stated above it is irreversible once done.
