    CyanogenMod 7 Weekly Builds

Just like the Nightly builds, these weekly builds are not for the faint of heart, and are not intended to be used as your 'daily driver' ROM
Anyone who wants to use these weekly builds should be comfortable enough with Android and the Atrix to recover from soft-bricks, and understand that at some point, you will most likely be wiping your data!

If this doesnt describe you, then these builds are probably not suited for you. These, just like the nightly builds, are for those who want the 'bleeding edge' and are willing to suffer consequences such as data loss etc etc...

The main difference is that the weekly builds are coming from the Atrix dev team. The nightlies are from the cyanogenmod dev team.

You can look here. It's the commit history in the dev team github.

It's the best source of info for specific changes.

    https://github.com/Atrix-Dev-Team/an...ts/gingerbread

I'm no dev, but it looks to me like the Atrix dev team is rolling in changes from the nightlies and including their own changes as well.

Weekly 2 was released on the 15 and I think I'm going to flash it tonight. It's based off of Nightly 18, but it has FINGERPRINT SCANNER capabilities, yes FINGERPRINT SCANNER (In CM7)!!!!!!!

Well, it seems the Atrix-Dev-Team is incorporating changes into their builds before they push the changes upstream to mainline. Nightlies are built by a buildbot automatically from what's in mainline CM7.

So basically their builds are testing new features.

Dorian, that does bring up an interesting point. With CM7-Atrix being so in flux currently, how is that affecting your plans for RedPill? I figure you'll want to put out an official release at some point, but if you wait until the CM7 team has put their official seal of approval on a general release, we might all be drawing what's left of Social Security.
