Hello there! My name is Blake. Pleased to meet you, and glad to be here!
I just purchased an Atrix, as it somehow just drew me in. Boy, I am loving it! I installed Launcher Pro, and am having fun with it. I want to understand more about the Customization/Rooting/and all the nifty little features! So, I'm looking forward to browsing these forums, and getting to know my new Superphone! Maybe there's an "Android for Dummies" tut somewhere on here?![]()

I'm extremely curious about rooting. I'll have to look more into that, such as Pros and Cons. I don't want to void my warranty without knowing what I am doing!
Thank you, WeraIt seems as if I can surf this place forever! I don't mind, really :-)
I'll second that, wera!
Welcome Blake. Great to have you with us.

I do have a question, wondering if you could answer.
I've owned this for about a week and a half, and my battery seems to be draining at a stupid rate. I can hardly go through a full day at work without it being almost dead.
I've read that people are getting amazing battery life....Any idea why I am not? I've only a few basic apps (Facebook, Twitter, a few games, and useful apps), and always use my task killer Widget...
For starters, KILL the task killer! They often cause far more problems than they solve, and Android is very well designed to manage apps! See Task Killers... The Answer from Google & Developers
Second, it often takes a few cycles of charge/discharge/charge for the battery to reach a proper level of stability. Don't drain it down to 0%, but use it normally, and in a week or so you'll see improvement in your battery life.
