    Nexus 5

The internet has been thick with rumors about the Nexus 5 lately. At the moment they seem to center around LG and the leaked photo from the kitkat video. Anybody watching the Nexus 5? Interested in getting it as your next phone? Thoughts on the phone?

I'd be interested in picking up another Nexus, because I consider it to be the ultimate Google Phone. That being said, we don't know a great deal about it at this point (September) but since it's traditionally a November release, we won't have long to wait.

Yes I am very intrigued by this one. A lot of secrecy right now lol. Although, some have talked about a Nexus 4 (2) kind of like they did with the Nexus 7. It would almost not surprise me, especially if LG made it. Like you said though, not much is known right now. If you hear anything, post it here.

    1. Removable battery.
    2. MicroSD card slot.
    3. Unlockable bootloader.

If any of those are missing, this hypothetical Nexus 5 is instantly off my radar.

    Hi Martin!! How are you?

I would say that the first two are definitely not going to happen lol. Although after owning a Nexus 7, I am a little more comortable with not having a removable battery than I used to be.

The no micro SD slot would be an instant deal breaker for me. Normally an unlockable bootloader would be also but I can make an exception for a vanilla Android device.

I tend to agree with you Rocer about the SD card slot - in a general sense. It's nice to have the ability to expand your storage space exponentially, but that doesn't appear to be the direction the phone manufacturers are headed. It's annoying, but I'm not sure there's a lot we can do about it as consumers.

    Here's another one....

Nexus 5 Rumors Confirmed: LG D820 Almost Certainly New Google Device, Android Fans Rejoice [REPORT] - International Digital Times

I have to say, one thing that strikes me as a bit odd is the 2300 mAH battery. It seems small to me...
