Hi there! I have a question - is your bootloader unlocked?

Clockwork shouldn't be used with root alone, as you probably now know. You have a few options if you have NOT updated to 2.3.4, but if you have then you will have to unlock the bootloader and install a Gobstopper to get back to Bell stock, or another custom ROM. Bell has no SBFs of their own. You could use a Telstra SBF, but NOT if it would downgrade you from 2.3.4. That would cause a hard brick.

Oh no - YOU are the expert, s8nt. I was just asking a preliminary question that I thought might be a good starting point.

As stated before, and summed up:
You cannot install CWM Recovery on a rooted ATRIX it must have an unlocked bootloader (sometimes this causes the softbrick that you experienced).
There are not any Bell SBFs as Canada has kept a good hold of them so the only method I see you being able to take is using SBF to install the 'pudding' file which lets you unlock the bootloader and go from there..sadly I don't know what else you can do (although it seems like you wanted to unlock bootloader):
[TUT]Unlocking Bootloader and Installing Custom ROMs

If your bootloader is already unlocked, let us know
Hope we got you off to a start. FYI never leave your phone at a 'failed to boot screen' as it will not charge and it will be drained..and that leaves you at the state of booting a phone in 'bootloader state' with no charge (which is possible in many ways but never fun).
    - Sam

I have much experience with unlocked bootloaders and custom ROMs on the original ATRIX. I will do my best to hold your hand through any problem, small or large, on any phone. Please open up a thread in the help section (or Rescue Squad section if your phone is in dire need) or PM me. I don't bite

Nope I haven't upgraded to 2.3.4 and still on 2.2.1
    Still keep getting this message.
    Failed to boot 2
    Starting RSD mode
