    HELP stuck on boot screen

I tried applying the Steel Blue theme from here:
    [THEME] Steel Blue v2.1 + Themed Apps! (CWM) - *Updated 6/22* - xda-developers
and now my phone is stuck on the boot screen!
What do i do? am I bricked? Please Help!

    I posted a thread here: [Q] Stuck on reboot (steelblue) - xda-developers

    but so far no help.
I have messaged and emailed a lot of people, but no one is replying.
Someone please tell me what to do!
I would prefer if there was a way w/out wiping my phone, but if not possible, then i just want to know how to fix the problem.

Someone from RS will be here shortly to help. In the meantime, give some further information about what you have done to your phone prior to attempting to install this theme. (what software are you running, are you unlocked, are you rooted, ets)

As carl said, we do need more information than what you have initially provided.

    1) What carrier are you using?
    2) What verison of Android OS are you using?
    3) Have you unlocked your bootloader?
    4) Did you try to apply theme to a stock device?
    5) What version of CWM are you using?

[edit] If you ran the theme on 2.3.4 and it was built for 1.8.3 - then I'm afraid unless you made a backup with CWM then you must perform a factory reset to resolve your issue.

If you need help, and I appear to be offline, shoot me a msg on Gtalk, or PM me and I'll respond as soon as I possibly can!!

yeah I realized that I applied the wrong theme(there was a version for 2.3.4 but i accidentally applied the older one) only after i rebooted, but by then it was too late.

You also need to unlock your bootloader prior to trying to install themes, roms, or kernels. .... hence, the soft-brick you have.

that explains it. I remember reading somewhere though, that you no longer have to have an unlocked bootloader, but I probably understood wrong.
