Of you're a veteran of XDA then you shouldn't have any problems getting the 4G ROM'd to your liking. One word of advice though that I've learned from this forum and have stuck to every time I've gone to mod a new device. Reread the directions at least three or four times and ask if I have any questions at all BEFORE I get started. Thankfully I've never had a serious issue.

The only time I've had problems is when I got too confident or impatient and skipped a step when I knew better, but it's never been serious and I've always been able to get myself out of trouble. But if it's the first time with a new device... Do your homework.

it's safe stay in stock if you are not aware how to deal with a rooted Android..
