Ordered the Samsung Galaxy S2 from AT&T today and 10 minutes after I order it, I TOTALLY forgot to double check if it has the Exynos SoC instead of the Texas Instruments variation. Low and behold it's the TI OMAP variation and unfortunately I'm stuck with it, been a customer since 2003-2004 and unfortunately they cannot cancel my order even if I literally just ordered it.
I know it's my fault for not checking before hand about the cancellation and the model of the device but come on! It was 10 minutes ago!

Does the different processor cause that much of a problem? I've had the AT&T SGS2 since the week it was released, and consider it to be a *fantastic* phone. Very fast and a pure joy to operate - never thought about the different processor the AT&T version has vs the one on the T-Mobile phone and the CDMA device Sprint is peddling.

You probably have the GT-I1900 which has the Exynos Chip and performs much better then the TI OMAP in every way. Samsung quietly released the GT-I900G which has a different CPU and GPU, I've read a couple different reviews between the two versions and everyone agree's there is a noticeable difference between the two and people say that the GT-I1900G lags quite a bit when switching between apps or playing games and so on..
Not a HUGE difference but definitely a noticeable one.

I have the SGH-I777, and I'm honestly not sure which processor it has. Got it the first week of September or October - whenever the phone was first released. I believe that the GT-I1900 is the international version, which will work just fine on the AT&T network, so you may want to return the AT&T phone and get that one.

You may also find this interesting - After months of waiting, Samsung's Galaxy S II series is finally available in the United States. Sprint has had their time to shine with the Epic 4G Touch, and now it's AT&T's turn. The Samsung Galaxy S II comes to the nation's second largest wireless carrier on October 2nd and packs a 1.2 GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, a front-facing shooter, and Android 2.3.4 with Samsung's TouchWiz 4.0.

Yeah it's the SGH-i777 but GT-I900G variation. I know that AT&T had the Exynos model at one point because Amazon is still selling the model with the Exynos SoC.
Blahhhhh!! I'll be returning it to the store when it gets here most likely.
