The HTC One X also has a great camera and the screen to show off those pictures.

The camera also does HDR, which can be really awesome for the right shots.

Buy the Galaxy Nexus, directly from Google Play Store. No carrier branding, no overlays - just the Pure Google Experience. All for $399.00. It doesn't get any better than this, folks.

GSM Galaxy Note 2 (Titanium) - Rooted running Jedi X20 Rom
GSM Galaxy Nexus (Black) - Straight Stock

Well, unless you're looking for a carrier subsidized price, I agree.

Carrier subsidies come with a hook - a two year commitment, plus you get bloatware.

That is true, but I've been with AT&T/Cingular/etc for over 12 years and they're the best GSM carrier in the US, so I'm planning on being with them for a long while into the future. A two year commitment doesn't bother me. Hell, I have five lines on my account and each of them have, or have had, two year contracts on them. Plus most cell phone/smartphone users can't plop down $400-$700 for a new phone in a time frame of less than every two years anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I've bought a few off contract, and probably will again, but it's not for everyone.

It went great actually. With native ics, the phone is smooth as ever. It's like the best of both worlds.

It improved the battery as well.

I completely agree... I have the same situation, been with AT&T for about the same length of time and also have 5 phone on the plan.

The other thing is that AT&T allowed most of the "bloatware" to be removed from the Atrix 4G. That was a bit of a new thing for the big carriers.

I'm also someone who bought the Nexus One directly from Google for $$$$, but even then $399 gives me pause compared to $199.

Galaxy Nexus from the Play store is only $350 now. I'm really really tempted to go ahead and get it.

I might be tempted if it was at least LTE.

I would strongly suggest waiting for the second generation LTE
